Living in Faith Everyday
Prayer, Worship, Bible Study
Life - Living in Faith Everyday

means spending TIME every morning and evening (even if it's just a few minutes) to Worship, Pray, and Study the Bible.

I worship God every morning and evening: God is a Spirit and they that worship him must worship Him in spirit and in truth (John 4:24)

I Pray to God every morning and evening: But when you make your prayer, go into your private room, and, shutting the door, say a prayer to your Father in secret, and your Father, who sees in secret, will give you your reward (Matthew 6:6).

I study the Bible every morning and evening: Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth (2 Timothy 2:15)

Life - Living in Faith Everyday

means SERVING the ministry of my church

By discovering my gifts and talents: As each one has received a gift, minister it to one another, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms (1 Peter 4:10)

By developing a servant heart: Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves, not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others (Philippians 2:3-4)

By accepting the Bible as my foundation for life: Everyone then who hears these words of mine and does them will be like a wise man who built his house on the rock (Matthew 7:24).

Life - Living in Faith Everyday

means PROTECTING the unity of my church

By acting in love towards others: Now that you have purified yourselves by obeying the truth so that you have sincere love for each other, love one another deeply, from the heart (1 Peter 1:22)

By refusing to use harmful words: Do not use harmful words, but only helpful words, the kind that build up and provide what is needed, so that what you say will do good to those who hear you (Ephesians 4:29)

By following the leaders: Remember your leaders, who spoke the word of God to you. Consider the outcome of their way of life and imitate their faith (Hebrews 13:7)

Life - Living in Faith Everyday

means sharing the RESPONSIBILITY for my church

By praying for its growth and development: We give thanks to God always for you all, making mention of you in our prayers (1 Thessalonians 1:2).

By inviting the non-churched and others to attend: Then the master said to the servant, ‘Go out into the highways and hedges, and compel them to come in, that my house may be filled’ (Luke 14:23).

By accepting one another: Accept one another, then, for the glory of God, as Christ has accepted you (Romans 15:7)

Life - Living in Faith Everyday

means SUPPORTING the testimony of my church

By attending faithfully: Let us not give up the habit of meeting together, as some are doing. Instead, let us encourage one another all the more, since you see that the Day of the Lord is coming nearer (Hebrews 10:25).

By living a Biblical godly life: Only let your conduct be worthy of the gospel of Christ, so that whether I come and see you or am absent, I may hear of your affairs, that you stand fast in one spirit, with one mind striving together for the faith of the gospel (Philippians 1:27).

By giving faithfully, (resources, skills and time): Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom. For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you (Luke 6:38)
